RPM has a variety of programs available for you to pick and choose allowing parents and players to place the emphasis where they need it the most. We offer programs for entry level, average and elite level players. Our programs start at age 3 up to Adult.
Please Note: RPM is not responsible for the selection you make regarding our schools. RPM is also not responsible for those who miss our programs due to their own schedule or timetable errors.
Entry Level:- Tiny Blades (3-5yrs) Preschool & New to Hockey (6-12yrs) those not currently in minor hockey.
Minor Hockey:- Tyke/Novice (5-8yrs) also referred to as Hockey 1-4, Atom (9-10yrs) Pee Wee (11-12) Bantam (13-14yrs) Midget (15-17yrs)
Minor Hockey has two levels of play - C level Hockey (Recreational) and Rep Level Hockey (upper ended to elite level players)
RPM will refer to C Level programs as Recreational Level or Rep Level Programs which are programs aimed at the elite level players. Parents with children in minor hockey are aware of which level their children currently play at.

Entry Level/Beginners Programs - For children interested in learning hockey and starting to develop their skills. Children in these programs may have limited or no skating skills.
If your child is pre-school age, New to Hockey or a beginner start here....
Tiny Blades 3-5yrs RPM will get the children started with the basic skating and puck skills. RPM will combine just the right amount of instruction with social interactive play. An excellent opportunity to gauge the interest of your child as he or she tries their hand at hockey. Snow suit (warm clothing) and hockey stick required helmet and mask mandatory and hockey gloves strongly recommended. Make your Child’s first experience with hockey a great one! Tiny Blades participants will graduate to New to hockey or if they are in Minor Hockey to our Power Skating Hockey Skills Programs.
New to Hockey 6-12yrs offers instruction in basic skating & puck skills. We combine just the right amount of instruction with game play making an enjoyable on ice experience. These programs are ideal for children just starting out, expressing interest in hockey, those wanting to try the game before moving into the minor system or for those kids who just want to play without the more serious commitment required to play organized minor hockey.
Power Skating Programs - Available to Recreational Players ( C level) in Minor Hockey and/or those who have graduated from the New to Hockey Programs.

Power Skating Hockey Skills Half of each on ice session offers power skating and the remaining half concentrates on puck control, passing, shooting and checking. This school offers a comprehensive well rounded delivery of all skills one must acquire and develop to play the game.
Recreational Specialty Clinics available to those players (Recreational/C Level) in Minor Hockey.

Defenseman’s School includes backwards skating and acceleration, pivots, shooting from the point, reading the play, understanding passing and rushing lanes, head manning the puck, how to play 1-1, 2-1, 3-1 and 3-2, checking and blocking shots!
Shooters School Instruction includes wrist shot, backhand, snap, slap, flip shots, break-a ways, bad angle shots, deflections and coming out from behind the net.
If your player is preparing for or entering contact hockey our body checking school is a must.
Bodychecking Schools are attended by both the average and rep level players making the transition into contact hockey.
Body Checking School Safe checking techniques are instructed. Correct delivery and how to minimize injury through preparation. Content includes: open ice, along the boards, in the corners, in front of the net and angling, stick checks, fore-check, back check and keep a player ‘in check’.

Power Forwards Rep Level Offers the REP LEVEL player the opportunity to refine their skills designed to focus on the ‘unique’ needs of the hockey forward. Players will learn how to fore-check, back check, body check, cycle, pivots, tight turns, beating the player 1-1, face-offs, avoiding physical checks, angling and gap control. We will also instruct ‘sniper’ concepts that will give you the skills to establish yourself as a power forward with the ‘finish’ of a goal scorer.

Our High Performance Camp includes Power Skating, Puck Skills Conditioning
High Performance Camp Offers the REP LEVEL player the opportunity to ‘fine tune’ their skating techniques developing their stride, edges and balance. Resistance, agility drills and quick starts. Stick handling drills will be done with the focus on improving hand speed and creativity. Head up puck control with the ability to handle the puck around the whole body. Shooting will focus on quick release velocity and accuracy. Program includes 2 hours on-ice, 1 hour off-ice. Off-ice conditioning provides players with techniques used to enhance strength, flexibility and cardio.

Conditioning Camp (Rep prep Camp) For those trying out for Rep For those players preparing for their tryouts! RPM will provide you with a fast paced on ice environment that includes conditioning and lots of flow not only will we get you in game shape we will have you ready to compete. Program includes 1 hour on-ice and 1 hour off-ice. Off-ice conditioning provides players with techniques used to enhance strength, flexibility and cardio.
